Last year, when I was showing some paintings, somebody came up to me and said, "That looks like something my kid could make...". And I was diplomatic about it and said, "Oh, really?" They wandered off, but what I really wanted to say was... I don't think your kid could find this substrate that I've been using for 25 years, and they wouldn't pick this body of paint in these colors or use certain brushes. They'd apply too much paint or too much water. They'd leave it on too long. They wouldn't know how to remove a small portion or smooth it out or layer it. They'd pick a different time to be done. Etc etc. By all means, give it a go. Good luck with that. I need some competition.

"What Have I Been Working On?" for February 4, 2018

This video shows 5 new paintings I've completed, a reorganization of my smaller paintings in one location, and a soon-to-be-performed 'dry run' to USPS/FedEx/UPS to determine shipping costs of my larger paintings.
